The Challenge
While shooting a feature film On Location you sometimes get to explore. No better opportunity to test new equipment and shoot some footage at an interesting location. Not a lot of time, low light, and other people around- but rule #1 is “Get the shot”!
The Solution
With a fellow actor we simply shot some abstract interesting areas, moved from open space to open space and tried to find the light. The real work happened later in post production. You have to look at editing as a new canvas and you have footage to paint with and to find a story to tell. After some creative cropping, selecting the best shots and color correcting, removing noise and finding the right music- a short film emerged!
