New Film For Coyote Broncos

The Challenge

Re-introduce the  company and owner to a vintage Ford Bronco market. Explain where Shaun comes from and how Rocky Roads approaches vehicle restorations.

The Script

The Ford Bronco has never been a product to me. It’s a lifestyle, and I love living it. I can’t believe I got my first ’68 in 1991. I’ve restored over a thousand since. Customizing is how you make it your own. Words like vintage, classic, and iconic really don’t do it justice. Those of us living this Bronco lifestyle know the invigorating feeling is fresh every time we turn the key and take the wheel. I’m always eager just to be a driver. It’s where it takes you and how it makes you feel; the freedom it gives you to pursue anything. It’s not just about off-roading and Rocky roads. Smooth rides are important too. There’s no reason to stop living our drains. Keeping these treasures on the road is my passion. I’m going to keep doing it—plenty of miles to go.

The Solution

in this case, the SCRIPT came after the visuals. We knew that shooting On-Location following the owner would be the best approach. Because his son was with him, it became a more intimate time. Getting the shots to cover the truck and running out of light rendered the opportunity to chase the last minutes of light down at the beach. Because this is something he does all the time and is part of his lifestyle with these amazing vehicles, the location and the product, and the person behind it all worked perfectly.

Editing was fun and once we got the right visual story, it became clear that hearing Shaun talk about his passion for restoring beautiful trucks, would complete the film. Because we had talked extensively, we knew where to start and we helped him polish up the message. We returned to record his voice-over on-location as well. This allowed him to be more comfortable and it did not interrupt much of his busy schedule and family time.

We are very proud of this new relationship with a company and person we believe in. We look forward to going On-Location again!
